The PlayStation 3 Slim

I was rather excited upon recieving my cheap ps3 controller. Its a beautiful piece of machinery to say the least. Love the re-done finish, no fingerprints! yay!
Anyway, Sony must be congratulated on producing such a versatile and cost effective console. My system has been playing CDs, DVDs, and games with the utmost speed and graphical clarity. Also, it doesnt overheat like the previous model. I found the online experience to be a bit limited...but maybe this is because I only tried it for a few hours. The controller is awesome and there is no lag time between delivery and execution of commands.
I think the only complaint I have about PS3 is that it lacks backward compatability with games for the PS and PS2 consoles - this would have been one thing to make the system perfection.

In short, I think this product is great for anyone who wants a CD, DVD, BluRay player and Game console...plus tonnes of Hard drive space..all in one relatively small unit. Have fun!!
Awesome buy, especially for the giftcard. Been wanting a ps3 controllers for years now and finally got it. I owned a Wii for a number of years and was so tired of Nintendo's Kid's games. First thing I got was Batman: Arkham Asylum, and it was bad ass.
The PS3 is a great console. Looking at the specs you'll realize that this is a PC in disguise; with the only difference that all of its power is aimed toward gaming. Games like God of War III and Red Dead Redemption give you a clue of what the engine is capable of. Being a programmer, I'm absolutely amazed by the power of this thing.
My only criticism would be that the tools provided to charge the controllers are very lame (I believe a Sony charger should be standard) and that no game in the PS Network is free (contrary to the Microsoft Xbox console). There's plenty of demo's though to have fun for quite a while.
I love my ps3 dualshock 3 controller and I'm not precisely a "full-time" gamer. And the best of all... even if you don't really get into the whole gaming universe you're getting a hell of a blue-ray player. Thumbs up!

The Awesome PS3 Controller

I now own the pink xbox 360 controller and the pink ps3 controller--the difference is that ps3 controllers have NEVER failed me! i also love how this controller has sort of a metallic tint to it, instead of being a flat pink color. it's light, very durable, and everything including the six-axis works perfectly.
When I first saw this my girly girl meter went way up. I knew it was for me! It's just like the one the males have only prettier. Now I can play my PS3 Wireless Controller in fashionista style. I already had 4 ps3 controllers, and I decided to get another four. I went with the blue ones, just so I could easily know which ones are new and which ones are old. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Really like this controller, its just like the one that comes with the game system if you buy it and you can still use the cord to charge it with. Great product with amazons great price. I bought everything for my new PS3 including the PS3 through amazon and the deals i got were amazing totaling a game bundle with 2 games and a controller, an extra controller, 5 awesome games, and an HDMI cable all for about 380. Could not ask for a better price than that!! Amazon is where you need to get this!
I've been using my ps3 bluetooth controller for about a year now. It came with one controller so it came to the day where I needed to buy a new one for guests. The controller works perfect, the battery lasts a good ammount of time and it is pretty easy to charge it. My downside for this is that it is very expensive.

MEDAL OF HONOR: WARFIGHTER of PS3

I cut Electronic Arts some slack, when they moved the Medal Of Honor franchise into the modern warfare setting, back in 2010.  That game that was mostly generic and a cookie cutter mish-mash of almost every other military first-person shooter being released in this console generation.  It’s now 2012, time for the franchise to reclaim some glory…
Sadly, Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a step backwards from all expectations.  It’s like nothing had been learnt from the previous game, so unfortunately we are supplied the same kind of thing.  It’s simply not good enough.
The single-player story takes the player through many familiar scenarios; on-ground combat, sniper opportunities and even a couple vehicle chase missions. There is certainly a nice variety of things to do, from mission-to-mission, but none of this is either ground-breaking nor innovative.
Often your player is grouped with up to three other colleagues, but their contribution is barely anything more than occasional ammo re-supply and perhaps as decoy while you can flank the enemy. The enemy AI is slightly better than this, as they sometimes might rush at you, but it generally sticks to a well-known routine of duck and cover until you can patiently pick them off at the right moment.
I don’t usually spoil actual gameplay moments, but there is a mission near end of the campaign, in which your character has to escape from inside a cargo-hold of a ship, starting unarmed, thus requiring stealth kills to secure a weapon and make his way up and through the ship. It’s THE genuine thrilling and memorable section of the entire game. Unfortunately, it occurs so late that many players may no longer even care. Imagine if this was the first mission instead? There might have had a completely different experience with the overall game.
Not being one for multi-player, I still gave this a go. There appears to be a good variety in class of soldiers, weaponry and scenarios in fair balanced play. The ability to represent your nation in a online community would be incentive for many to persevere on for many hours here, too.
I’ve been a long-time supporter of this franchise, but I feel it no longer has anything worthwhile to say. MOH:Warfighter is technically a good, polished game, but it lacks genuine heart. It becomes increasingly difficult to care about a game that clearly no longer respects itself. Nonetheless, still worth getting when discounted in price six months after release. Yet by then, I fear, a new generation of better first-person shooters and other great games will have clearly passed this by.For more:www.eachgame.com
